Our monthly bi-lingual publication has been published since the founding of the NSS in 1890. As the "official" publication of the society, all announcements from the National Officers, or National Assembly are deemed as having been mailed directly to each member.
The "National News" features columns by the National Officers, former presidents of our merger partners, our Sales Department, our CPA and others. Additional features are pages for women, youth and our Slovak speaking members and announcements about upcoming assembly and region activities.
The editor is Lori Crowley. Articles for publication should be directed to her through the NSS Home Office. Articles can be sent via the USPS, faxed to the NSS Home Office at 1-724-731-0145, or e-mailed to NSS Editor Lori Crowley at email@example.com.

Our members receive the "National News" free as a fraternal benefit. Complimentary copies are sent to other organizations that reciprocate with their publications.
This quarterly publication is directed to our youth members sixteen years of age and younger. The "Youth Circle" Magazine features articles about youth happenings in our society and elsewhere in the fraternal benefit system.
Scholarship recipients along with winners in our May Art Contest, Photo Contest, Christmas Ornament Contest, Poetry Contest and other fraternal awards are highlighted.

Copies are sent to the Library of Congress and various college and university libraries. Featured is a summary of the previous year of what transpired in the life of the NSS. In addition, feature articles in English and Slovak about leading Slovak individuals, or events are printed.
Manuscripts are solicited for publication and the deadline each year is August 1st. A small honorarium is paid for articles that are printed.
The editor is National President David Blazek and articles submitted for publication should be sent to the NSS Home Office marked for the "Yearbook" or "Kalandar".
In those years between NSS Conventions, a "pictorial" review of the events that are conducted on the national, region, and assembly levels will be published.
